Hot-dip Galvanized Elliptical Finned Tube Specifications:

Base Tube Dimensions: Common elliptical tube specifications are 36mm×16mm, wall thickness 1.5mm and 2mm.

Fin Dimensions: Rectangular fin specifications are 26mm×55mm (width×length), thickness 0.5mm.

Length Selection: Custom lengths from 1.5 meters to 6 meters are available.

Fin Spacing: 3mm for the first row of tubes on the windward side.

Elliptical Finned Tube Structural Design:

The base tube uses an elliptical seamless steel tube with a major axis to minor axis ratio of 1.25-10, wall thickness 2-5mm, and a narrow side dimension that is 1/2-2/3 of that of a circular tube, increasing space utilization by 35%. The fins are bonded to the base tube via high-frequency welding or brazing. The aluminum fin thickness is 1-2.5mm, and the spacing can be customized (2-8mm). For high-temperature applications, a wider spacing prevents dust accumulation, while for low-temperature applications, a denser spacing enhances heat transfer.

Elliptical Finned Tube Galvanizing Process

Hot-dip galvanizing involves immersing the finned tube in 460℃ zinc liquid to form a 50-120μm zinc layer (including a zinc-iron alloy layer). Adhesion is ≥5MPa, and salt spray life is 5000-8000 hours.

The zinc layer protects the base tube through sacrificial anodes, making it resistant to moisture, poussière, and corrosion in environments with pH 5-9. Its lifespan is 3-5 times longer than ordinary carbon steel finned tubes.

Hot-dip Galvanized Elliptical Finned Tube Performance Advantages

Heat Transfer Efficiency: Elliptical tubes have lower airflow resistance, resulting in a 25%-35% higher heat transfer coefficient compared to circular tubes, and a 20% reduction in energy consumption.

Durability: The 304/316L stainless steel base tube is heat-resistant up to 600℃, and the aluminum fin brazing process allows for an operating temperature of up to 300℃.
