Air cooler (Air cooled heat exchanger) is a heat exchange equipment that uses ambient air as a cooling medium, expands the heat transfer area through finned tubes to enhance the heat transfer outside the tube, and cools or condenses the high-temperature process fluid in the tube. ‌‌‌‌‌

‌Basic structure and working principle‌

‌Core components‌: The air cooler is mainly composed of a tube bundle (フィン付きチューブ), a bracket and a fan. The tube bundle expands the surface area through the fins, and the fan drives the air across the tube bundle to take away the heat. ‌‌

‌Working principle‌: The high-temperature fluid flows in the tube, and the air is forced to convect outside the tube, and cooling or condensation is achieved through heat conduction and convection heat transfer.
