H-fin tube, also known as a square fin tube, is a type of finned tube used in heat exchangers, particularly for air heating applications. It features fins attached to the tube in an H-shape, which increases the surface area for heat transfer. There are two main types: single tube H-fin and double tube H-fin (also called rectangular fin).

The basic form is “H” type or double “H” type, arranged in a row.

Performance characteristics of H-type fin tube economizer

1)The H-type fin tube economizer replaces the bare pipe economizer, which can increase the heat exchange area and reduce the number of pipe arrangements, thereby increasing the cross section of the flue gas flow, reducing the flue gas speed and reducing wear due to the grinding of the pipe

The loss rate is proportional to the 3.33 power of the flue gas flow rate, so if the flue gas speed is reduced from 9 m/s to 7 m/s, the wear rate will be reduced by 43%. At the same time, the experiment shows that the finned tube itself has the function of concentrating the fly ash to the middle of the tube row, so the use of the finned tube economizer has the effect of reducing the wear on the structure.

2)The H-type fin tube can be fabricated into a double-tube “double H” type finned tube, which has a good rigidity and can be applied to a long tube row.

3)The H-type fin tube economizer adopts an in-line arrangement, and the H-shaped fin divides the space into a small area, which has a current sharing effect on the airflow, so that the wear is greatly reduced.

H/HH Type Fin Tube(Square Steel Pipe) Manufacturing Process:
It adopts high frequency welding spiral technology with high frequency power supplies as the heat source to heat the steel strip, steel pipe at the same time,be welded together.

Advantages of HH / H finned tube:
1) The H-type finned tube economizer instead of the smooth tube economizer can increase the heat exchange area, reduce the number of tubes, increase the flue gas flow section, reduce the flue gas velocity and wear.
2) The H-type finned tube can be made into a “double H” type finned tube with double tubes, which has good structural rigidity and can be used in the case of long tube banks.
3) The H-type finned tube economizer is arranged in sequence. The H-type finned tube divides the space into several small areas, which has the function of flow equalizing and greatly reduces the wear
4) The best soot blowing effect can be obtained by forming a straight channel on both sides of H-shaped fins.
5) The space is compact, the overall weight is greatly reduced, and the cost is reduced
6) Energy saving and low power consumption: the economizer used for the generator unit can reduce the heat loss of exhaust gas of the generator by at least two thirds, and only consume 2-4kw per ton of steam
7) Simple operation and maintenance; labor saving: the economizer is assembled as a whole, with fewer moving parts, simple structure and easy installation. High level of automation, simple operation and maintenance, can reduce the number of operators.
