Cel LNG Ambient Air Vaporizer (AAV) uses the heat of the air to heat the cryogenic liquid within the heat exchange tubes. The tube fins absorb the heat from the air and transfer it to the cryogenic liquid within the tubes, vaporizing it into gas. This air-heat vaporizer requires neither electricity nor steam, making it a new type of energy-saving vaporization equipment. It has no moving parts, is maintenance-free, and is silent. It is widely used for vaporizing cryogenic liquids such as liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen, and liquid LNG.
LNG Ambient Air Vaporizer (AAV) Product Structure
The LNG Ambient Air Vaporizer (AAV) primarily consists of star-shaped vaporizer fins, a liquid-gas flow guide tube, a base, a bracket, and inlet and outlet connectors.
The star-shaped vaporizer fins are made of LF rust-resistant aluminum alloy, with diameters of 115 mm or 160 mm, respectively, and have eight symmetrical fins. They offer excellent vaporization performance, durability, and resistance to corrosion and weathering.
Liquid flow tube: Made of copper or 0Cr18Ni9 stainless steel, it is resistant to high pressure and impact.
Base and bracket: Made of angle aluminum for durability, corrosion resistance, and durability.
LNG Ambient Air Vaporizer (AAV) Technical Parameters
Suitable media: LNG, NG, CNG, LO2, LN2, LAr, LCO2, NH3, LPG, etc.
Working pressure: 0.1-40 MPa
Vaporization capacity per unit: 20-10,000 Nm³/h. Larger units are difficult to transport, so consider combining multiple units.
Equipment categories: Vaporizers, heaters, boosters, etc.
Star-shaped finned tubes
Star-shaped finned tubes are the core components of the vaporizer, serving as heat absorbers and vaporizers. They are made of rust-resistant aluminum. Fins are commonly found in 8-fin and 12-fin configurations. The outer diameters of the finned tubes are available in two sizes: φ160mm and φ200mm. φ200mm is typically used for large vaporizers.
LNG Ambient Air Vaporizer (AAV) Materials and Processing
All parts are made of aluminum alloy and stainless steel, both of which offer excellent corrosion resistance. The high-pressure connections between the stainless steel core tube and the fins are tight. Each tube is nitrogen-dried according to oxygen standards before shipment, ensuring a longer lifespan.
Key Advantages of the LNG Ambient Air Vaporizer (AAV)
This air-heated vaporizer is energy-efficient, saving significant amounts of electricity and steam compared to water-bath electric-heated and steam-heated water-bath vaporizers.
The structural features of this vaporizer ensure that all components maintain normal operating pressure even at cryogenic temperatures, preventing seal freezing. It offers excellent sealing performance, reliability, non-corrosiveness, and a long service life.
The LNG Ambient Air Vaporizer (AAV) features a compact structure, uniform, neatly arranged, and elegantly designed fins, and utilizes large finned tubes.
All welds at the joints of the LNG Ambient Air Vaporizer (AAV) are welded using argon arc welding, resulting in neat, aesthetically pleasing welds free of undercuts, pores, and other defects. Upon shipment, this vaporizer is rigorously cleaned to remove oil and grease, and undergoes hydraulic and airtightness tests, demonstrating no leaks. After pressure testing, the vaporizer is dried with dry nitrogen.
The LNG Ambient Air Vaporizer (AAV) achieves its vaporization function by absorbing heat from its own sensible heat and the ambient air, which is its advantage.
