What is L Type Finned Tube?
L foot finned tube is a heat transfer component manufactured by tension wrapped a metal strip with an L-shaped cross-section around the outer surface of a base tube. Characterized by fins attached to one or both sides of the tube, it is primarily used to increase heat transfer surface area and improve heat transfer efficiency. Structural principle: Aluminum or steel strips are pre-processed into an L-shaped cross-section and then spirally wound under tension onto the outer surface of a base tube (such as steel or copper).
