Elliptical Finned Tube Structural Design:
The base tube uses an elliptical seamless steel tube with a major axis to minor axis ratio of 1.25-10, wall thickness 2-5mm, and a narrow side dimension that is 1/2-2/3 of that of a circular tube, increasing space utilization by 35%. The fins are bonded to the base tube via high-frequency welding or brazing. The aluminum fin thickness is 1-2.5mm, and the spacing can be customized (2-8миллиметр). For high-temperature applications, a wider spacing prevents dust accumulation, while for low-temperature applications, a denser spacing enhances heat transfer.
Elliptical Finned Tube Galvanizing Process
Hot-dip galvanizing involves immersing the finned tube in 460℃ zinc liquid to form a 50-120μm zinc layer (including a zinc-iron alloy layer). Adhesion is ≥5MPa, and salt spray life is 5000-8000 hours.
The zinc layer protects the base tube through sacrificial anodes, making it resistant to moisture, dust, and corrosion in environments with pH 5-9. Its lifespan is 3-5 times longer than ordinary carbon steel finned tubes.
